First thing after breakfast we went on an excursion in Bora Bora with Bora Ocean Adventures. It was the perfect trip for the entire family. After a short speedboat ride to the floating platform in the Bora Bora lagoon, we saw the submarine-like sea scooters. Following some basic instructions, we hopped into the sea scooter as it was lowered down into the water.
For the next 30 minutes, we zipped around in the water while scuba divers monitored us to make sure everything was okay. It was a unique experience as we got wet but the pocket of air in the sea scooter made it so we could talk with our kids as we were exploring the aquatic life below the surface of the ocean.
Our kids, Zak and Teyauna loved the experience which was a cross between scuba diving and a submarine tour. It certainly was an experience we will never forget.
