Orin’s Trip to Napa

Orin (age 12)

It was so exiting when we woke up early in the morning to set sail on the Napa river adventure. It was so cool wen we had to stop our boat and we VHF’ed the bridge people to lift up the drawbridge. It was really cool after 7 hours of sailing we finally arrived. The sun set was amazing streaked with purple and orange. The next morning we packed up and cleaned the boat and stood on the dock and watched as some people put a lift under the boat and lifted the boat up after we lifted the boat out of the watter. We found out that our hull was covered in mud because the tide went so low our hull hit the ground. Luckily that was mud or else we could have damaged our hull. I cant wait till we go on the crossing and sail to the tropics and surf on the sandy beaches of Tahiti.
